The name of that toned down version of Airtel Thanks app is Airtel Thanks Lite App. This app can already be downloaded from the Google Play Store. Customers will be able to recharge their mobile numbers with the help of this Airtel Thanks Lite app just like the regular app. At the same time, customers will be able to choose their desired recharge pack by looking at various plans.


The most important feature of this app is its size. The size of Airtel Thanks Lite app is less than 1.1 MB. This app will run on different Android devices. It includes Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and above. According to Airtel, this Thanks Lite app will work quickly and will also run on 2G connections.

Although running on Android devices, Airtel Thanks Lite app will not run on iOS devices at all, and even if it has been running, Airtel has not said anything about that. Besides, it will also run from web browser. The app is very easy to use, customers can use it only with Airtel mobile number.

Airtel further said with this app, the phone will take up very little space in the smartphone. In other words, this app will not take up much space of the phone, it will also save battery. This Airtel Thanks Lite app supports Airtel Payment Bank services. Like the regular Airtel Thanks App, its lite version also allows users to make online payments to various banks like UPI, Paytm, PhonePe, Amazon Pay, SBI, HDFC, ICICI etc.

With the help of this app, Airtel users will be able to listen to different types of songs. The app has Wynk Radio, which allows customers to listen to trending songs at once. In this way, it is clear that Airtel is aiming to increase the number of subscribers to a greater extent with the help of various features. According to a recent report by TRAI, Airtel added more than 1 million subscribers in August this year. This includes 2G, 3G, and 4G users.
